Job Summary: The Management Consulting (MC) Intern utilizes his or her educational background as well as his or her organizational skills to serve the firm's client base. The MC Intern assists in providing basic services to clients in the areas of business performance improvement, IT business enablement and technology operations, partnering with more experienced MTAS professionals who provide direction, coaching and learning opportunities. The MC Intern participates in various stages of consulting engagements, and provides assistance with planning, execution and close out. Job Duties: Assists with informational interviews and facilitation of meetings with clients during engagement process Assists in documentation of project requirements and business processes Assists in development of initial deliverables and/or solutions to client issues Takes minutes during meetings, and produces a meeting summary to present to clients Leverages templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentation Utilizes research tools, databases and trade publications to develop an understanding of a client's industry Assists with research for and drafting of proposals Assists with documentation and work papers associated with client engagements Other duties as required Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Management, Finance, or Information Systems, required Experience: Project delivery experience, preferred Leadership experience, preferred License/Certifications: N/A Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Word, and PowerPoint, required Language: N/A Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing Ability to work effectively within a team setting Strong analytical and basic research skills Solid organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to travel 20%-50% of schedule Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
