Carrier Fire & Security EMEA is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support their Portable Fire Extinguisher business unit.

The purpose of the role is to grow & develop business with large distributors and service companies across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with new potential and existing customers,

• Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches,

• Provide sales projections, forecasts and reports,

• Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects of current and potential customers. Enter new customer data and update changes to existing,

• Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions to support customer knowledge and engagement with our products and services,

• Assist in creating RFP responses to potential customers or ongoing existing customers,

• Where necessary, support marketing efforts and potentially attend trade shows, exhibits, and other events,

• Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.

• Keep up with product and service information and updates. Stay informed about competing products and services.

• Liaison between all departments within including order entry, production, delivery, field service, RMA’s/repair, billing.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma and a few years of customer service, sales support, marketing, and/or sales experience

• some experience with Salesforce or other CRM

• Valid Driver’s license

• Experience with product & pricing management

• Diversified sales support in a technology field

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills along with judgment to make strategic decisions

• Ability to build relationships internally and externally
