DESCRIPTION

The Acosta Mosaic Merchandising team is currently looking for dedicated merchandisers to join our RESET team. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not essential, equivalent experience will be considered and training will be provided. Our main customers are in the cosmetics or grocery sector, but our team serves a wide variety of customers in other industries such as electronics, pets, accessories, and small appliances. As a Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers' merchandising initiatives and fostering strong relationships with store and department managers.What do we offer?- Competitive hourly rates (negotiable based on territory and experience).- Compliance bonus of $1 per hour in-store (paid quarterly).- Flexible hours- Mileage paid- Growth Opportunities- Referral bonus program

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Precise assembly: Arrange shelves, displays, and walls according to planograms and instructions provided.

• Efficient scheduling: Plan and organize in-store visits in assigned territory.

• Effective communication: Ensure that your supervisors (and support team, if applicable) are informed of your work schedule as needed.

• Continuous Learning: Attend mandatory training sessions (online and on-the-job).

• Build relationships: Maintain positive connections with key in-store contacts.

• Detailed Reports: Complete visit reports, including daily data submissions and photos of completed tasks (using hand-held reporting technology).

• Versatility: Manage visits to various department stores and grocery stores (e.g., Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Best Buy, Canadian Tire, Loblaws, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

• Merchandising experience: While preferred, it is not essential, but equivalent experience would be considered.

• Attention to detail: Execute planogram changes accurately.

• Organizational skills: Multi-task efficiently and meet all deadlines

• Physical abilities: Our team frequently works in grocery environments that may require moving large shelves and fixtures, as well as unpacking cases of various groceries. The appropriate candidate must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds, bend over, kneel and stretch for extended periods of time.

• Enthusiasm: Energetic, motivated and enthusiastic.

• Adaptability: Flexible and open to change, as our team grows and accepts diverse clients. It's essential to apply previous merchandising experience to new customer initiatives.

• Effective Communication: Strong written and oral skills.

Other requirements:

• Availability: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Driver's license: Valid license with access to a reliable vehicle.

• Regional travel: Comfortable with occasional travel within the territory (up to 60 minutes).

• Tech-savvy: Proficient in the use of mobile devices and capturing quality photos of the work done.
