Job duties of the Project Estimator:

• Identify customer needs, review & understand plans & specifications
• Send accurately and timely estimate proposals of projects and be prepared with cost breakdowns to include subcontractors and suppliers
• Able to present bid, explain and answer questions regarding project to the customers Executives and Project Managers
• Ability to flag potential problem areas on projects
• Perform load calculations, design duct systems, and take off HVAC equipment
• Attend job meetings and pre-bid meetings.
• Stay current with material and labor costs to address escalation of costs for budgeting of long-term projects
